A Confused Job switcher is dedicated to most of the people in later twenties who are eager for a job change...
As a man with few family responsibilities overhead and a lousy, confused yet curious job seeker, just like most of them are, i tend to resist change. I wish my life to be settled tomorrow itself. But i want things to go my way. A way unknown or unexplored deep inside my mind. I feel how confused i am! What is that i am doing writing a blog here when i must have been busy executing my jobs well which i opted for just a reason of salary. I am earning money to support my family. By now i have registered in job search websites (Monster, Naukri, Shine, Linkedin etc.,) searching for that one job that suits me well. So, which job suits me well? Which is my passion? What do i like to do in my career? Hushhhhhhhhhh..... after four years of professional life in project coordination and logistics field, i am asking this question to myself now?? I feel disgusting!
But all that i did there or rather I can call it transferred from one place to another. I once handled a perfect project coordination job, then into production control, then into recruitment of people like me as a part of it, then finally and completely into planning and administration in another department. Heck! These were never my field! I am an industrial engineer for god sake! But i ask to myself, how many get to work in their field(s) of interests?
Well as i see, in this gushing society, we are all for some reason working in the fields which are never our choice. We don't get what we really want. It is always like 'by chance'. And slowly we accept that as a fact and start our career around it! We forget to search for our passion, some make their 'by chance' career as their passion. Ultimately they all look up for one thing! MONEY. But if we really think towards finding our interests and liking's, we can achieve what we call as SATISFACTION too.
We all have our favorite verb 'Googling' (New word for searching and its synonyms as in the 21st Century). It may not have answers for all the questions in this world, but certainly has many alternatives. So if anyone wants to have an enjoyable professional life, its never too late for your age (Later Twenties) to just google your mind and find your field of interest which can also be related to your current career. Who knows! An idealistic mind can create wonders.
"Apathy can be overcome by enthusiasm, and enthusiasm can only be aroused by two things: first, an ideal, with takes the imagination by storm, and second, a definite intelligible plan for carrying that ideal into practice".

Since this is my first post, I do appreciate your comments, good or bad! I accept all. As one of my friend said, nobody comes as an expert from their mothers womb.
